Edda AI point defense turret tracking an incoming FPV drone, with a red bounding box and live telemetry readout overlaid on the target.

[ AI MISSION SYSTEMS ]

Autonomous systems for military use.

The US Government and its prime contractors are buying our systems now to work where others fail. Edda, our first product, stops high-speed FPV suicide drones.

[ THE PROBLEM ]

The battlefield changed faster than the defense industry could respond. One-way FPV attack drones — assembled for hundreds of dollars, flown at 30 m/s, swarmed in volume — now account for the majority of casualties in active conflict zones. Legacy C-sUAS systems were engineered for a different threat: large, slow, RF-dependent platforms at kilometer-scale ranges. They are too expensive, too heavy, and too slow for the fight that's actually happening at 50 meters.

Counter-drone built for speed, and close-in engagements.

[ CAPABILITY ]

Built around the engagements legacy systems can't handle.

See drones before they're a problem.

Coarse acoustic tracking from the drones' own intrinsic signature, refined to fine targeting by an onboard in-house developed visual model — all totally passive, with zero RF signature.

Drones evolve fast. Defense must be faster.

Edda's technical whitepaper details our acoustic detection stack, the in-house visual model that handles occluded targets, and the motion-platform engineering that lets a 23 kg turret move quickly enough to track even the fastest targets.

[ COMPANY ]

Built by a team that's shipped before.

We are a focused team building counter-drone systems out of Austin. Software discipline applied to hardware — fast iteration, real deployment, no decade-long acquisition cycles.

[ CAREERS · AUSTIN TX ]

We're hiring engineers who want their work fielded, not filed.

9 Mothers is a team building counter-drone systems for the U.S. Government. If you've shipped hardware inside a slow program of record and thought it should take months, not years — read on.

  1. 01

    Bias to ship.

Hardware in the field beats hardware in a deck. Range time over roadmaps.

  2. 02

    Focused team. Big blast radius.

Four systems. One kill chain. Your work is load-bearing on day one.

  3. 03

Austin. In person. On the bench.

We build together — turret next to oscilloscope next to coffee. No remote.
